OpenAIRE Content Provider Dashboard: A service aiming to enable trust within the European repositories network

This proposal aims to present the OpenAIRE Content Provider Dashboard service, detailing the main features and functionalities available for all the managers of data sources registered in the OpenAIRE infrastructure.

The presentation will highlight how providing front-end access to the core OpenAIRE’s backend services via this dashboard, OpenAIRE is contributing to enable trust within the European repositories network. The OpenAIRE Provide Dashboard is a one-stop-service with added value services where content providers interact with OpenAIRE by validating and enriching the repository metadata and content and providing detailed information about the metadata aggregation stages and consolidated usage statistics reports.

The OpenAIRE Provide Dashboard is a bundle of services for content providers to share and exchange metadata and content using the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) metadata frameworks and rules of participation. The service provides metadata validation, reporting and brokering functionalities, providing feedback about gaps between EOSC data sources, maintaining an up-to-date scholarly record. This service was developed in the context of OpenAIRE Advance project (2018-2020) and is currently being improved within the OpenAIRE-Nexus Horizon 2020 project that is onboarding to the EOSC fourteen OpenAIRE related services.
