Best Practices for using tree-ring stable isotopes of Oxygen in paleoclimate and ecophysiology.

Soumaya Belmecheri; Alienor Lavergne; Milagros Rodriguez Caton; Paul Szejner; Valerie Daux

This R-Script describes best practices for using d18O forward modelling for paleoclimate and ecophysiological reconstructions. The script enable simulation of cellulose d18O in tree rings based on  process-based models of  leaf water evaporation and , and using various environmental input variables. Finally, it allows the assessment of the drivers of cellulose 18O variability based on a sensitivity analysis.

This version is V1 and runs with example data set of measured cellulose 18O.
