THE ROLE OF NUTRITION IN ENERGY SUPPLY OF MUSCLE ACTIVITY

Description

This article provides information on the role of nutrition in energy supply of muscle activity. In addition to carbohydrates, skeletal muscle energy supply can be used to provide the body with energy, including fatty acids, for muscle activity. Among other possible sources of energy are proteins, amino acids, which undergo various metabolic changes, oxidation of nutrients in muscle cells, and the overall metabolic rate of skeletal muscle at rest is much lower than at rest and during metabolic reactions compared with the intensity.
