Cet article pr&amp;eacute;sente les donn&amp;eacute;es relatives aux &amp;eacute;coles de grammaire sanskrite de l&amp;rsquo;Inde pr&amp;eacute;-moderne recueillies dans plusieurs sources primaires et secondaires, en les articulant &amp;agrave; deux questions centrales&amp;nbsp;: 1) que faut-il pour &amp;laquo;&amp;nbsp;faire &amp;eacute;cole&amp;nbsp;&amp;raquo;&amp;nbsp;? et 2) sur quels crit&amp;egrave;res se fonde-t-on pour distinguer une &amp;eacute;cole d&amp;rsquo;une autre&amp;nbsp;? L&amp;rsquo;&amp;eacute;tude montre que c&amp;rsquo;est principalement autour de ce qui fait (ou non) autorit&amp;eacute; que le d&amp;eacute;bat se cristallise et que l&amp;rsquo;affiliation &amp;agrave; une &amp;eacute;cole de grammaire se d&amp;eacute;cr&amp;egrave;te, que l&amp;rsquo;agent du d&amp;eacute;cret soit l&amp;rsquo;auteur lui-m&amp;ecirc;me, ses disciples ou ses opposants.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;abstract&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
This article introduces data related to schools of Sanskrit grammar in pre-modern India which were collected from various primary and secondary sources. It focuses on two main questions: 1) what is required to &amp;ldquo;found a school&amp;rdquo;? and 2) what criteria are used to distinguish one school from another? The study shows how the debate mainly crystallizes around what is (or is not) authoritative and how the affiliation with a school of grammar is decreed, whether the agent of the decree is the author himself, his followers or his opponents.&lt;/p&gt;
