The following is an explanation of the variables in the dataset. 	General:

SegmentUnique	Unique Identifier for segment. Format: Transect number; Season (A = Autumn, S = Spring); Distance from centre of the forest	

Segment	Non-unique identifier. Format: Transect number; Distance from centre of the forest


ID	Location number. Multiple locations were recorded within each 50-metre segment. All data collected within each 50-metre segment were merged

TransectNo		Number of transect (1-12)

SeasonLong		Season (Autumn or Spring)

SeasonAbbv		Abbreviated Season (A or S)

Autumn			Binary (1 = yes, 2= no)

Spring			Binary (1 = yes, 2= no)

Date			Date data collected. Format: dd/mm/yyyy

Time			Time data collected at ÔIDÕ location. Format: hh:mm:ss

Type			Transect (T) recorded automatically or Waypoint (W) recorded manually e.g. 	when wild boar sign seen.
