Deliverable D2.4 consolidates and generalizes the results of the research activities carried out and synthesized in deliverable D2.2 titled ``Initial results in D-band Ad-hoc wireless connectivity analysis, communication theory beyond Shannon, and algorithm design''. In this depicted context, this deliverable summarizes final results carried out in Tasks 2.2 and 2.3 on fundamental performance bounds exploiting machine learning techniques and programmable metasurfaces. Overall, the results reported in this deliverable allowed us to assess the major performance gains that the deployment of RISs in high frequency bands bring about for application to future wireless communication systems.
