<description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Air pollution means the presence in the atmosphere of substances that, depending on the concentration and / or time of action, cause changes in health, cause discomfort and alter the environment.&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;Air pollutant can be any substance in the solid, liquid, gaseous (vapor) state or energy (radiant, electromagnetic, ionizing, thermal, acoustic or vibrating) present in the air, which can have a negative effect on human health and / or&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;on the environment;&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;The air is composed of: nitrogen 78.09%, oxygen 20.94%, argon 0.93%, CO2, 0.03% neon, krypton, xenon, helium, hydrogen, ozone and other water vapor.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Criminal law (art. 230 Penal Code) criminalizes air pollution more than the established norms, as a result of the emission into the atmosphere of pollutants or violation of operating rules, or failure to use machinery, apparatus, purification facilities and control of emissions into the atmosphere, if&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;it has caused considerable damage to the environment, the animal or plant kingdom, the health of the population or caused the death of the person.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
