    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;The deliverable constitutes a report describing the technical details from the implementation and development of the alpha versions of the DIONE in-situ (WP4) components aiming to establish a complete ecosystem of low-cost and easy to use smart tools and techniques for the accumulation of the in-situ information. In particular the report focuses on (i) the microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) based sensor, the measurement protocol, the smartphone application, and the security protocols, (ii) the geo-tagged photos framework iii) the data pre-processing system, including the utilized DBMS, backend processes for data integration and validity, and techniques used for outlier detection.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
