Ecology. Eurybathic species, found at depths between 44 (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004) and 1000 m (El Beshbeeshy 2011). Epibiotic on hydroids (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).
Distribution. Endemic to the Patagonian region (El Beshbeeshy 2011), found on the Patagonian shelf and slope (El Beshbeeshy 2011) and off the western mouth of the Strait of Magellan and the Falkland Islands (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).
