Leading Edge Distributed and Non-Distributed Electric Propulsion Comparison on a Moving Vessel Deck

Distributed electric propulsion (DEP) enables to easily apply distributed propulsion to aircraft. DEP generates greater lifting forces but also greater drag forces. To achieve better aerodynamic characteristics, the wing geometry must be modified based on optimization.
