    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;The Austrian Social Survey investigates changes in the social structure, living conditions, social attitudes and values of the residential population of Austria.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Abstract in German:&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Wie sehr interessieren sich die &amp;Ouml;sterreicherinnen und &amp;Ouml;sterreicher w&amp;auml;hrend der COVID-19-Krise f&amp;uuml;r Politik? Gleichen sich in der Pandemie die Interessen f&amp;uuml;r Politik unterschiedlicher sozialer Gruppen an oder trennt die Krise die Gesellschaft weiter in politisch Interessierte und Desinteressierte?&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Der &lt;em&gt;Soziale Survey &amp;Ouml;sterreich&lt;/em&gt; und der &lt;em&gt;European Social Survey&lt;/em&gt; zeigen: Die Krise hat das Interesse an Politik gesteigert, insbesondere bei &amp;Auml;lteren, die im Pandemiemanagement im Fokus des politischen und medialen Diskurses standen, aber auch bei anderen vulnerablen Gruppen, die die Auswirkungen politischer Entscheidungen zur Eind&amp;auml;mmung der Pandemie sehr unmittelbar zu sp&amp;uuml;ren bekamen. Sind allerdings Gesundheitsprobleme virulent, relativiert sich die Bedeutung von Politik.&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
