Proton-ligand stability constants of cefadroxil and stability constants of its metal complexes in aqueous-organic mixtures

Proton-ligand stability constants of cefadroxil and its metal-ligand stability constants with cu2+, Cd2 and Co2+ ions were determined pH-metrically at 30 ºC and ionic strength of 0.15 M KCI in aqueous, water-alcohol (75 : 25% v/v) and water-dioxane (75 : 25% v/v) mixtures. Cefadroxil formed 1 : 1 (ML) complexs with Cd2 and Co2+ whereas 1 : 2 (ML2) with Cu2+ in aqueous,water-alcohol (75 : 25% v/v) and water-dioxane (75 : 25% v/v) mixtures.
