Description

Bassozetus levistomatus Machida, 1989.

80.5 cm (31.7 in) SL. Circumglobal; western Pacific Ocean north to Izu-Ogasawara Trench (Nakabo in Nakabo 2002); central California (34°40’N, 125°05’W). Depth: 3,965 –5,200 m (13,005 –17,056 ft). All in Nielsen and Merrett (2000).
