    "description": "<p>Bare structural steel samples were exposed for one month up to one year at atmospheric conditions on PLOCAN&#39;s offshore platform outside Las Palmas.&nbsp;Loss in steel sample thickness (and corrosion rates) were measure by weight loss measurement.&nbsp;The results indicate a corrosivity of 0.18 (mm/yr) which campares to corrosivity category C5 (very high).</p>",
