Description

Liparis pulchellus Ayres, 1855.

Showy Snailfish. To 25.4 cm (10 in) TL (Miller and Lea 1972). South-eastern Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (Mecklenburg et al. 2002) to Monterey Bay, central California (Miller and Lea 1972). Benthic; depth: intertidal to 191 m (626 ft) (min.: Miller and Lea 1972; max.: NWFSC-FRAM).
