Thanks to long-duration high-cadence light curves from space telescopes, we suggest the frequency at maximum power as a proper indicative of the mean temperature and surface gravity for delta Scuti stars. This seismic index do not depend on rotation or inclination unlike photometric and spectroscopic techniques that may be significantly affected by gravity-darkening effect or extinction. Thus, it is posible to improve their distance, age, and habitable zone measurements for this kind of stars.
