Indeed, the exoplanets detection itself does not rely on
\nstellar-model-dependent approaches and thus, a detailed characterization of
\nthe host star improves significantly the understanding of the exoplanet. In
\nthis context, we focused on Kepler-93, whose high-quality data and stellar
\nproperties make it a PLATO benchmark target and motivate a new
\ncharacterization to reach their precision requirements. We carried out a
\ndetailed stellar modeling using global and local minimization techniques and
\nconsidering various changes of the physical ingredients. We completed our
\nanalysis with inversion techniques to provide a more robust mean density
\nestimate and test the impact of surface effects. The revised stellar
\nparameters allowed us to update the planetary parameters of Kepler-93b and
\nsimulate its orbital evolution under the effects of tides and atmospheric
\nevaporation. We found that a detailed asteroseismic modeling will be able to
\nmeet the PLATO standards for such a solar-like star.
", "author": [ { "family": "B\u00e9trisey, J\u00e9r\u00f4me" }, { "family": "Pezzotti, Camilla" }, { "family": "Buldgen, Ga\u00ebl" }, { "family": "Khan, Sanyia" }, { "family": "Eggenberger, Patrick" }, { "family": "Salmon, S\u00e9bastien" }, { "family": "Miglio, Andrea" } ], "id": "5554088", "event-place": "virtually anywhere", "type": "speech", "event": "Plato Mission Conference 2021" }
