The first records of Platycheirus europaeus (Diptera: Syrphidae) from the central part of European Russia

The hoverfly Platycheirus europaeus Goeldlin de Tiefenau, Maibach & Speight, 1990 is collected in Moscow Region and recorded from central part of European Russia for the first time. Distribution is summarized and a comparative diagnosis of this species is given.
