  "description": "<p>This paper describes the XML based\u00a0multidisciplinary tool integration in a\u00a0conceptual aircraft design framework,\u00a0developed by the Division of Fluid and\u00a0Mechatronic Systems (FluMeS), Link\u00f6ping\u00a0University. Based on a parametric data\u00a0definition in XML, this approach allows for a\u00a0full 3D CAD integration. The one-database\u00a0approach, also conducted by many research\u00a0organizations, enables the flexible and efficient\u00a0integration of the different multidisciplinary\u00a0processes during the whole conceptual design\u00a0phase. This \u00a0central database approach with a detailed explanation of the developed geometry\u00a0description and the data processing, focusing on\u00a0the CAD integration is presented. Application\u00a0examples of the framework are presented\u00a0showing the data build up and data handling.</p>",
