A novel adaptive Wavelength Division Multiple Access (WDMA) scheme is presented in this paper, capable of contrasting the effect of the Passband Shift (PS) phenomenon in an indoor densely deployed LiFi network. After an overview on WDMA in an indoor Internet of Things (IoT) setting, simulation work is defined and carried out. Results show how in such settings, the loss of connection is reduced
to an average of 0.72 % compared to 31.25 % when using Adaptive WDMA. Additionally, the users are served with higher average
speeds and better fairness.
