Posterolateral angles of head of Dasymutilla. 7A. Posterolateral angles bearing glabrous tubercles directed outward towards the compound eyes. 7B. Posterolateral angles lacking glabrous tubercles. Fig. 8. Shape of mesosoma of Dasymutilla females. 8A. Mesosoma long and narrow, longer than broad. 8B. Mesosoma short and broad, as broad as long. Fig. 9. Scutellar scale of Dasymutilla females. 9A.
