Some results of long time spectral monitoring of the Herbig Ae/Be star MWC 614 (HD 179218) are presented. On the 2015 data, in twice have been detected wave-like quasi-cyclic variations in parameters for the emission component of the Hα line with variation time scale ~40 days. The first of the wavelike variations is more profound; decrease and increase in spectral parameters and profile variations of the Halpha line is clearly revealed. According to the 2018 data, we found a similar wavelike change in the emission component of the Halpha line for the timescale of 40 days. The observed variations in the spectrum of the star may be explained by the existence of polar winds and accretion, or by assuming that the star is a binary system.
