A National Agenda for Research Software

This agenda seeks to address recognition of research software as a first class output of research in Australia. A framework for guiding action is described, calling for three high level actions to see, shape and sustain research software. The current state for these high level actions is described with reference to activities in Australia and abroad. A set of four actions against these high level actions addresses infrastructure, guidance, community and advocacy concerns, leading to the 12 actions overall that form the agenda.
