  <dc:description>This document describes how iNGENIOUS plans to evolve devices and communication solutions to support Next-Generation Internet of Things (NG-IoT) scenarios. In particular, this deliverable has the objective of capturing the state of the art (SoA) technologies, from the device standpoint, supporting IoT and the planned innovations of iNGENIOUS in this regard, which are also mapped to the use cases of iNGENIOUS. The document covers three aspects of IoT devices, namely, i) connectivity, ii) local computation, and iii) service axis.</dc:description>
