In this paper, we describe our approach for developing a<br>\nD-MILS assurance case, which is based upon a set of modular\u00a0assurance case patterns that are automatically instantiated using a\u00a0model-based instantiation process. We illustrate the application of\u00a0our approach using a small cryptographic controller example and\u00a0explain the benefits brought by our approach in support of DMILS.</p>",
