    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;The species of the family Pyramidellidae collected during Seamount 2 expedition to the submarin Atlantic banks south of the Azores are revised. A total of 27 species are described of which 3 are in the genus &lt;em&gt;Chrysallida&lt;/em&gt;, 7 in &lt;em&gt;Eulimella&lt;/em&gt;, 8 in &lt;em&gt;Odostomia &lt;/em&gt;and 9 in &lt;em&gt;Turbonilla&lt;/em&gt;. Of this total, 1 species of &lt;em&gt;Chrysallida&lt;/em&gt;, 3 of &lt;em&gt;Eulimella, &lt;/em&gt;1 of &lt;em&gt;Odostomia &lt;/em&gt;and 5 of &lt;em&gt;Turbonilla &lt;/em&gt;were previously known, the remaining 17 being new for science&lt;em&gt;.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
