This compiled data set includes the following mineralogical, geochemical and clay analyses performed at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland: - Leaching characteristics (eluate tests) in mg/L - Anion analyses in mg/L - Effective cation exchange capacity in meq/100g - Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy in percentage (transmission) and cm^-1 (wavenumber) as separate files per sample, labelled as "FTIR_sampleID_weight" - X-Ray diffraction in weight-percentage - Nitrogen-adsorption for BET surface in m^2/g - Enslin-Neff free water uptake capacity in percentage - Specific (inner crystalline) surface (water vapour adsorption) in percentage - Carbon content determination in g/g The data contained herein is based on research pursued for the doctoral thesis of Dipl.-Ing Maximilian Haas, which remains to be completed and defended, in the framework of the CERN Doctoral Student Programme.
