    <subfield code="a">&lt;p&gt;The present work analyses part of the contributions that can be made by the ethical theory of K.-O. Appel for the improvement of the institutional quality of the democratic Rule of law. The idea is that by making explicit the philosophical foundations of this ethical theory, related to the procedure of reconstruction of the presuppositions inherent in the pragmatic dimension of argumentative discourse, it is possible to provide greater theoretical support for a dialogical conception of the political-democratic.&lt;/p&gt;</subfield>
