Hermeneutics
Communicative Rationality
Connecting points between Ricœur and Apel

In this paper, we propose to confront the theory of communicative rationality of K. O. Apel with the hermeneutics of time of Paul Ricœur. The communicative rationality is transformed in an action, in a privileged practice, that we need to know and handle because we are participants and heirs of a ideal communicative community which harvest the tradition received through past centuries. We shall use an inductive method, that is, a methodologic strategy used habitually by Ricœur: to see, to analyse, to define, to classify, for the creation of philosophic reflexion. I don't pretend an explicative approximation to Apel's rationality, rather, I propose this hermeneutic commentary to throw light on the connecting points between Ricœur's and Apel's way of thinking about the configuration of time and the communicative rationality.
