  • 1. Philipps-Universität Marburg

Description

Dataset from the following publication:

Hübner, C. and Schütz, A. C. (2021) ‘Rapid visual adaptation persists across saccades’, iScience. Elsevier, p. 102986. doi: 10.1016/j.isci.2021.102986.

The zip-file contains raw data of 20 (Experiment 1), 7 (Experiment 2 & 3), 6 (Experiment 4), and 4 (Experiment 5) participants (folders named “Experiment #”), and a matrix indicating which trials had been excluded from analysis (exclusions_exp#.mat), as well as a description for identification of the data files (data_file_guide.pdf).

Note for DAT-files:

Eye movement data are stored in trial#.dat files. Each file contains the
eye movement data from one trial.
Column number    Content                            Unit
1                            Time of recording             [s]
2                            Horizontal eye position    [pix], substract 960 to get position relative to screen centre, multiply by 0.0255 to transform to visual angle
3                             Vertical eye position       [pix], substract 540 to get position relative to screen centre, multiply by 0.0255 to transform to visual angle
4                             Pupil size                        [arbitrary unit]
5                             Events from eyelink        [bit1: saccade; bit2: Blinks; bit3: temporal markers from experiment]
