We have combined TESS and archival GALEX photometry to test the UV predictions of white-light flare rates using the 9000K model and discuss the background and our methodology in this poster. We have found from our preliminary results that the UV predictions of white-light flare rates do not accurately reflect the NUV or FUV flaring activity of low-mass stars and are working to quantify the scale of this disconnect.</dc:description> <dc:identifier>https://zenodo.org/record/4564321</dc:identifier> <dc:identifier>10.5281/zenodo.4564321</dc:identifier> <dc:identifier>oai:zenodo.org:4564321</dc:identifier> <dc:relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.4564320</dc:relation> <dc:relation>url:https://zenodo.org/communities/coolstars20half</dc:relation> <dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights> <dc:rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode</dc:rights> <dc:subject>Cool Stars on the main sequence</dc:subject> <dc:subject>Very low mass stars</dc:subject> <dc:title>The Disconnect Between UV and White-Light Flares in Low-Mass Stars</dc:title> <dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/conferencePoster</dc:type> <dc:type>poster</dc:type> </oai_dc:dc>
