  "abstract": "<p>A checklist is presented with 359 species of coastal marine Testaceous Gastropods collected in the area between the towns of Cullera and Denia (Gulf of Valencia, East of the Iberian Peninsula). A separate appendix is included with bathyal species (49 species) and pelagic species (18 species), obtained from sediments collected by trawlers working on the Gulf of Valencia. The species <em>Cerithiopsis annae</em>, <em>Cerithiopsis ladae</em>, <em>Cima apicisbelli</em>, <em>Volvarina mitrella</em>, <em>Mangelia sandrii</em>,<em>Mangelia brusinae</em>, <em>Chrysallida multicostata</em>, <em>Calliostracon tyrrhenicum </em>and <em>Tjaernoeia boucheti </em>are reported for the first time on the Iberian peninsular coast. The species <em>Nassarius vaucheri</em>, characteristic of northern Africa and the Straits of Gibraltar, is recorded for the first time in this area. The possible existence of new species distinguished respectively from <em>Caecum trachea </em>(Montagu, 1803) and <em>Eulimella acicula </em>(Philippi, 1836), is discussed. The species <em>Ondina modiola </em>(Monterosato, 1884) is considered as valid</p>",
