Prosopis tamanukii Yasumatsu 1939: 69, Ƥ (holotype—Ƥ, “Konuma” [Novoaleksandrovsk, Sakhalin, Russia], 12.VII.1929, leg. Tamanuki, probably lost]. Synonymized by Proshchalykin et al. 2004: 155.

Distribution in Russia. European part (Osytshnjuk et al. 1978), Tomsk Prov. (Wnukowsky 1936), *Novosibirsk Prov., *Altaiskiy Terr., *Altai Republic, *Khakasia Republic, *Tyva Republic, Irkutsk Prov. (Kokujev 1927), Buryatiya, Zabaikalskiy Terr., Yakutia, Amurskaya Prov., Primorskiy Terr., Khabarovsk Terr., Sakhalin, Kuril Islands (Kunashir), Magadan Prov., Chukotka.

General distribution. Holarctic species, from Pyrenees and northern Europe to Chukotka; Nearctic from Alaska to Nova Scotia, south to New Mexico; reaching in Europe beyond the Arctic Circle (see Proshchalykin 2008, Ebmer 2011).
