Type deposition. IMR (lectotype).

Type data. L. fletcheri: ex Rattus rattus, Malaysia, Selangor State, Sungei Buloh; L. fletcheri francolini: ex Francolinus pintadeanus, China, Yunnan Province.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Apomys insignis, Bullimus bagobus, Melomys sp., Rattus argentiventer, R. everetti, R. exulans, R. mordax, R. praetor, R. rattus, R. sordidus, R. tanezumi, R. tiomanicus, Sundasciurus mindanensis, Uromys caudimaculatus; CHIROPTERA: Haplonycteris sp.; SCANDENTIA: Urogale everetti; PERAMELEMORPHIA: Echymipera kalubu cockerelli; DIPROTODONTIA: Dactylopsila trivirgata; AVES: Francolinus pintadeanus, Rallus torguatus sanfordi.

Distribution. China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines.
