Type data. Ex Rattus tanezumi (syn. Rattus rattus diardii), Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Funambulus tristriatus, Lenothrix canus, Menetes berdmorei, Mus musculus, Niviventer cremoriventer, Rattus andamanensis, R. norvegicus, R. rattus, R. tanezumi, Sundamys muelleri; SORICOMORPHA: Suncus murinus; CARNIVORA: Paradoxurus hermaphroditus.

Distribution. Ceylon, China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam.
