    <subfield code="a">&lt;p&gt;Synthesis of ferrate and its application to methylene blue degradation has been done. The synthesis was carried out by reacting Fe(NO3)3 solution with NaOCl as oxidator agent in alkalis conditions. In the degradation reaction of methylene blue by ferrate,its absorbance was monitoring by spectrophotometer UV-Vis. Effect of some parameters such as pH and molar ratio of ferrate and&lt;br&gt;
Methylene Blue was examined at experimental condition. Ferrate can oxidize methylene blue effectively at optimum pH of 9,6,with the molar ratio of ferrate : methylene blue 3 : 1, its showed that percentage of methylene blue degradation reached to 87,8%. These result indicate that ferrat an alternative and environmentally friendly substance that can be used for methylene blue degradation.&lt;br&gt;
