ШКОЛСКИ РЕЧНИЦИ СРПСКОГ ЈЕЗИКА

  • 1. Институт за српски језик САНУ, Београд

Description

У раду се описују основни типови школских речника српског језика и њихове особине. Наводи се који нам школски речници недостају и којим би врстама школских речника требало дати предност у планирању лексикографског рада.

THE SCHOOL DICTIONARIES OF SERBIAN LANGUAGE
The term školski rečnik includes several diff erent types of dictionaries. The Serbian term školski rečnik covers the meaning of two Russian terms – школьный словарь and учебный словарь, as well as at least two еnglish terms – school dictionary and learner’s dictionary.
The number of school dictionaries of Serbian language published so far is relatively small. Most of them are bilingual dictionaries of Serbian combined with Russian, English, German and French language. Among the monolingual school dictionaries, far most signifi cant, most ambitious and of highest quality is The School Dictionary of the Standard Serbo-Croatian – Croatian-Serbian Language written by Mirjana Jocić and Vera Vasić. The dictionaries of literary and language terms make the majority of monolingual school terminological dictionaries.
The largest defi ciency is notable among the monolingual school dictionaries, both universal and specialized. Considering the current available lexicographical strength and fi nancial possibilities, it is most probable that creating of the universal monolingual school dictionary of Serbian as a mother tongue would be the most expedient solution.
