    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;Born digital cultureel erfgoed is bedreigd erfgoed. Het is digitaal gecre&amp;euml;erd en heeft geen analoog equivalent. Door de snel veranderende technologie en door het feit dat ICT vaak op maat wordt gebruikt (bijvoorbeeld bij digitale kunst), is dit type erfgoed extra kwetsbaar. Hard- en software verouderen in snel tempo en raken op termijn in onbruik. Hierdoor kan het gebeuren dat het erfgoed in de toekomst niet meer geraadpleegd of hergebruikt kan worden. Deze problematiek speelt binnen alle domeinen van de culturele sector. Om de duurzame toegankelijkheid van de digitaleobjecten te kunnen blijven garanderen, moet de vanzelfsprekende zorg voor het erfgoed zich nu uitbreiden tot de digitale collectie. Dit is essentieelvoor het toekomstig rendement van culturele instellingen.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;De Culturele Coalitie Digitale Duurzaamheid (CCDD) heeft in 2014 onderzoek gedaan naar de stand van zaken rond de duurzame toegankelijkheid van born digital erfgoed binnen de culturele sector.&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
