The first record of Holoparamecus depressus (Coleoptera: Сoccinelloidea: Endomychidae) in Ukraine

Handsome fungus beetles (Endomychidae) belong to the group of obligate mycetophages. On February 10, 2020, during
an entomological research of the storage rooms of the Odessa Art Museum, one individual of Holoparamecus depressus Curtis, 1833 was discovered. This find is the first registration of this species in Ukraine. The peculiarities of the biology of handsome fungus beetles and the find of one of them in the museum storage room with zones of growth of microscopic fungi allow us to attribute the representatives of this family to the species - indicators of the unsatisfactory condition of the museum rooms.
