"Hymn of the most holy grammar": the terminology of the curricular area Language and communication
Description
Philological terminology is a constant part of general culture. At the gymnasium stage the students assimilate dozens of terms pertaining to linguistics, literary theory, communication etc. While the order in which these are learned is dictated by current curricular documents and textbooks, the limits of the terminology that is to be assimilated -- and which may become subject to assessment – are rather vague. Apart from knowing the terminology suggested by curricular content, the students are expected to use coherently and correctly the verbs that designate intellectual operations, as well as to name intellectual work techniques and the resulting produce appropriately.
