Description

This paper presents the results of the research on growing young pigs, conducted by the author within
the State Enterprise for Pigs Selection and Hybridization ”Moldsuinhibrid” in Orhei, between 2011–2016. The purpose
of the experiment was to determine the effect of the mycotoxin adsorbent Vitacorm REO-AG supplemented at different
levels in mixed feed on pigs productivity (the feed additive was purchased from Ukraine, Odessa, from the research and
production complex specialized in the development and production of industrial preparations for animal and birds
breeding), in the situation where no feed additives are produced in the Republic of Moldova. The main research objective
of the experiment was to estimate the body weight, the consumption feed and the parameters of slaughter. According
to the principle of the analogous groups, 4 groups of pigs were formed, one control group and three experimental
groups. The basic compound feed in the experimental groups was supplemented with Vitacorm REO-AG mycotoxin
adsorbent at different levels of 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 kg/t. Significant results were recorded with regard to the body weight
by 2.74, 5.48 and 7.81 % in all experimental groups compared to the control group as well as increase the average daily
gain. The use of the adsorbent in the composition of the combined feed at 2.0 kg/t contributed to the increase of the
slaughter efficiency by 1.81% and the long length of the carcase by 2.01cm. The conditioned economic efficiency was
higher by 18.67 % (271,81 lei) compared to the control group.
