  "abstract": "<p>Last decades, Cloud computing has made significant</p>\n\n<p>impacts on traditional applications to change their development</p>\n\n<p>and operation methods. We witnessed ever more newly-built</p>\n\n<p>Clouds and data centers. However, the centralized management</p>\n\n<p>mechanism of current Clouds lacks the dispersion to satisfy the</p>\n\n<p>requirements of emerging collaborative applications, including</p>\n\n<p>AI, IoT, and autopilot. On the other hand, the Edge computing</p>\n\n<p>stays at the conceptual and experimental stage. Most organizations</p>\n\n<p>construct their own Edge nodes to operate applications. An</p>\n\n<p>efficient and incentive mechanism is missing to motivate the Edge</p>\n\n<p>and micro Cloud resource providers to join and constitute a more</p>\n\n<p>generalized and decentralized ecosystem. To address this issue, we</p>\n\n<p>propose ALLSTAR, a blockchain based architecture for equally</p>\n\n<p>combining all the Cloud and Edge resources to be seamlessly</p>\n\n<p>leveraged by the application in the DevOps (development and</p>\n\n<p>operations) lifecycle. The ALLSTAR architecture is a systematic</p>\n\n<p>solution to realize the JointCloud management and contributes</p>\n\n<p>to construct the corresponding ALLSTAR ecosystem. This paper</p>\n\n<p>describes the overall architecture of ALLSTAR, the related key</p>\n\n<p>techniques, and detailed application DevOps processes as well as</p>\n\n<p>the new business model.</p>",
