Novel Coronavirus: Hypothesis of Treatment with SIRT1 Inhibitors

Sirtuin 1 SIRT1 inhibitors can be a valid solution to treat Novel Coronavirus, based on research on reduction of many virus replication and growth, as Mers-CoV, HIV, Epathitis B, VSV (Vesicular Stomatitis Virus), flu strains, adenovirus and others. SIRT1/SIRT2 inhibitors are related to the halt of cells' apoptotic response. In addition, SIRT1 reduce ACE2 activity, the receptor which Coronavirus uses to enter in the host's cells.
