    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;How Treatment works: Coronaviruses reduce p53 protein as defese mechanism, by means an interaction between Sars-unique domain (SUD) and papain-like protease (PLPRO) via E3 ubiquitin ligase RCHY1. P53 is an important factor in downregulation of coronavirus replication, with reduction of Sirtuin 1 SIRT1. Tenovin-1 is a small molecule that inhibits SIRT1 and 2, and activates p53, protecting it against MDM-2 mediated degradation, which involves ubiquitination.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
