The Coronavirus-Host Community is curated by Plazi.
\r\n\r\nEvery record added by a Zenodo user generates a notification e-mail to the curators, who will check if the added record indeed includes a citation, mention or reporting of coronaviruses-host relationship, or any taxonomic information about a known reservoir.
\r\n\r\nAlthough the curators can edit the included metadata, we kindly ask users willing to collaborate to contribute complete records, in order to accelerate the curatorial process.
\r\n\r\nIf an uploaded document has an existing DOI, it will be kept. If there is no DOI, a Zenodo DOI will be minted for the item.
\r\n\r\nItems with Open Access remain Open Access.
\r\n\r\nItems with closed access remain closed. If they are published on 31.12.1999 or earlier, they will be made accessible for reading. Please consult your national copyright law for conditions of reuse.

The goal of the Coronavirus-Host community is to collect scientific publications relating to Coronavirus hosts by citing, mentioning or reporting these viruses-hosts interactions and relationships, and by describing and/or annotating the taxonomic knowledge about these host taxa.
\r\n\r\nTaxonomic publications will be mined in conjunction with the Biodiversity Literature Repository. The data therein will be FAIRiszed by creating respective deposits linked to the original sources’ deposits.
\r\n\r\nAn important outcome is ensuring that any future scholarly publication can cite bibliographic references with a DOI that provides access to a digital copy of the article.
\r\n\r\nThe uploading of these works will be based on a public Zotero bibliography library where the articles are collected and their metadata curated.

\r\nPlazi is a not-for-profit Swiss organization based in Bern, Switzerland, supporting and promoting the development of persistent and openly accessible digital taxonomic literature. Plazi is also responsible for the Biodiversity Literature Repository (biosyslit), a Zenodo community dedicated to share publications related to bio-systematics.
