Deliverable D3.7 presents the results regarding the execution of the test cases defined in D3.6 [1], in order to validate the features exposed for each component placed in the Interworking (I/W) Framework, possible interconnections between them and aspects related to the system itself; for example, the interconnection between the I/W Framework and each site facility.
This is the final deliverable within task T3.4, related to the Interworking testing process. As a result, this deliverable firstly summarizes and concludes some specific chapters introduced in D3.6 [1], namely an overview of the tests done, a summary of the testing methodology used in the process, an update of the risk plan taking into account the effects caused by the COVID-19, a final specification of the testing roadmap with the corresponding dates in which each milestone has been achieved, and a reminder of the testing tools to be used for performing the tests.
Then, the test results are reported by following a homogeneous format, similar to what was proposed in D3.6 [1]. This is really important in order to be able to analyse the test results with the same criteria for all the cases. In general, what can be extracted from the execution of the test cases reported in this deliverable is that the Interworking Layer is prepared to be deployed and operated in the expected production environment, as most of the components that belong to the IWL have successfully passed their corresponding test suites. However, there are still some test cases to be executed in the near future, as some of them had to be delayed due to several reasons; mainly, due to the COVID-19 situation. These pending test cases will be reported in D3.5 [2] due next year, also coinciding with the final version of the Interworking Layer. To achieve that, a continuous integration process will be followed, and potential failures discovered during the system deployment and the way to solve them will be described in that deliverable.
