<dc:description>A report on Pattern + Code, a project working with primary school children to explore codes through both textiles and musical code, creating an audio/visual installation and live performance. The project came in three parts: Knot Coding, hiding messages in string, inspired by Andean Quipu, Algorithmic Drumming Circles, live coding percussive, cyclic music in groups of eight, and finally a live coding quartet performance. The paper concludes by considering how knot coding and live coding could be brought together in the future.</dc:description>
