&lt;p&gt;The Energy Performance Building Directive (EPDV, 2010)&amp;nbsp;states that by &lt;em&gt;2020 &lt;/em&gt;all new buildings should reach&amp;nbsp;&amp;ldquo;nearly zero-energy&amp;rdquo; performance levels using&amp;nbsp;innovative and cost optimal technologies with&amp;nbsp;integration of renewable energy. The use of Thermal Energy Storage (TES) in buildings in&amp;nbsp;combination with space heating, domestic hot water&amp;nbsp;and space cooling has recently received much&amp;nbsp;attention. This is the special topic of the webminar with the collaboration from RELaTED, SunHorizon and HYBUILD projects coordinators.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
