Experimaker: The first real-time WYSIWYG editor for behavioural experiments

Experimaker is the first real-time WYSIWYG editor for behavioural experiments. The software platform enables researchers to use an intuitive GUI to configure experiments, with no technical or scripting knowledge required. The system is designed with behavioural researchers in mind. Familiar terminology (blocks, trials, conditions, stimuli, response) is used throughout.

The experiment view updates in real time as the experiment is edited, and shows exactly what the participant will see. Trials are automatically generated from stimulus sets uploaded by the researcher, but can be manually edited if need be. Timelines and timepoints allow for the creation of complex experiments with millisecond accurate timing. Experiment templates allow researchers to modify existing experiments rather than starting from scratch. Hosting is provided for all experiments created in Experimaker. In future updates, researchers will be able to share the experiments they create with Experimaker.
