The purpose of the survey was&nbsp;to determine&nbsp;the current state of institutions&rsquo; data management systems and processes, and&nbsp;gauge their interest in technical support for existing repositories. It further served as&nbsp;an opportunity to introduce members of the WDS to the new ITO office. The survey provided&nbsp;a first look at the current state of the WDS members technology,&nbsp;their expertise, interests, needs and expectations.</p>",
